Project Analyst
Client: BAE Systems
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Hourly Rate: £40 PAYE or £52.78 Umbrella
Duration: 6 months
Working arrangements: 37 hours over 5 days, with an early finish on Fridays. Minimum 3 days on-site weekly (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with flexibility for business needs.

Join BAE Systems Integrated Planning and Risk team as a Project Analyst on a 6-month contract, covering long-term absence. You’ll be part of a 15-person team, supporting project reporting, scheduling, and risk analysis with opportunities to share your knowledge and grow in your career.
About the Role:
1. Perform intermediate project reporting and scheduling to support project planning.
2. Tackle intermediate problem-solving, applying insights from past experience.
3. Maintain a solid understanding of business processes and procedures.
4. Support administrative tasks, including handling spreadsheets and Microsoft Office.
5. Analyse scheduling and risk data to provide actionable insights.
6. Prepare analytical presentations, leveraging strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
7. Interpret schedule data, highlighting trends and variances for team insights.
8. Share expertise with junior members of the team, contributing to knowledge transfer.
9. Develop graphical presentations using the Microsoft toolset for effective data visualization.
Key Skills:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and general Office skills.
2. Strong analytical skills; a qualification in analytics is desirable.
3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
4. Scheduled Data or Risk Analyst experience is advantageous.
