Established organisation are looking for a Digital Product Owner to be responsible for developing and enhancing all Digital products. The role acts as the conduit between customers, technical teams, commercial and digital teams. Ensuring the optimisation of the primary Digital Product (website) but also leading on the evolution of new Digital products for the future. This role supports the digital strategy in the areas of personalisation, friction free journeys and diversification of digital platforms to attract and retain customers.
The role will include:
• Developing the Digital Product roadmap covering both short-term tactical improvements, as well as future focused product development
• Lead the delivery of all new features and maintenance of the Digital roadmap.
• Partner with insights to stay connected to the customer and market trends, within the Digital Product industry to help inform the Roadmap.
• Seeking out your own industry trends and latest technology advancements, to recommend new opportunities for innovating and growing your Digital Products.
• Utilising data platforms such as Clarity and GA4 to create and define the scope of new Product enhancements to continuously evolve the platforms, in line with customer insight.
• Effectively communicating upcoming releases internally with other teams.
• Overseeing the UX Design - focussing on user needs to decide on new features and customer journeys that help to build a better customer experience.
• Collaboratively working with Marketing and E-commerce teams to design and develop the digital product strategy, aligned to their future needs.
• Host innovation and product development workshops with both our customers and internal stakeholders to explore and build new solutions.
• Supported by the UX Designer, you will collectively develop Friction free user journeys that support the Ecomm teams’ conversion and retention targets.
• Receiving briefs from the Marketing, CRM, Customer Service and E-comm teams to develop enhanced User Experiences and liaising with the Technology team to bring them to life.
• Create presentations that communicate your strategy, customer research and recommended direction to engage multiple stakeholders.
• Conduct and commission user research and usability studies, collaborating with Designers, Developers, and Insight to develop and deliver customer centric design.
• Evaluating, testing, and critiquing prototypes before handing to Development to ensure it aligns to original customer research and the Digital Product strategy.
• Where applicable, based on insight, develop mobile solutions to enhance customer experience.
• Alongside the Digital Experience Director, manage budgets for bespoke projects.
• Attending industry conferences and thought leadership sessions to bring in external inspiration to develop our future products, staying up to date with industry opportunities.
• Inspire and manage your team, providing them with the right level of support to deliver the product roadmap and their personal development.

• Understanding of core technology to partner effectively (good knowledge of front end Development
• Experience using GA4/Digital BI tools and is self-sufficient in gathering data and insight.
• Hands-on experience of Optimizely (or similar DXP) and Hubspot to implement changes.
• Previously worked within a Commercial team and used to collaborating to achieve growth targets.
• Has launched or developed new Digital Products over and above e-comm websites.
• Experience leading UX and UI teams - implementing Wireframes and Development briefs.
• Working knowledge of Prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD (or similar)
• Previous experience commissioning customer research for User testing or broader insights and confident presenting back findings to stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of HubSpot and integrating CRM technology to offer seamless CX.
• Used to working in teams that operate with an Agile methodology and Sprints.
The role is hybrid (2 days / week in the office) based just outside Cardiff.
