Medlock Partners are currently supporting a leading law firm with recruiting for a legal assistant to join their offices in Sheffield. The successful person will have previous legal assistant experience within the private client’s sector and have the ability to support the fee earners and partners with multiple administration duties.
Key responsibilities of the Legal Assistant:
* Supporting the fee earners and partners with general administrative duties
* Drafting and preparing documents
* Handling inbound client calls assisting with enquiries
* Dealing with incoming and outbound post
* Ordering of stationary in accordance with office needs
* Diary Management
* Archiving of files
* Updating the company case management system
* Scanning and filing all documentation
Key requirements for the Legal Assistant:
* Previous legal assistant experience within the private client’s sector
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Solid systems skills and knowledge including MS Office, specifically Excel – case management experience is preferred
* Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels within the companies.
