An opportunity to take on an important legal role in the renewables sector has arisen with a green energy business in Manchester. This opportunity is open to lawyers with at least 4 years PQE in either commercial, real estate or projects.
Reporting to the General Counsel you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and drafting a broad range of contracts such as NDAs, lead generation contracts and supply agreements;
- Providing prompt and sensible advice on a wide variety of legal issues including commercial agreements, dispute resolution and property queries;
- Supporting other teams round the business e.g. HR/finance/commercial;
- Gaining an understanding of regulatory obligations (including FCA); and
- Horizon scanning on changes to the law and providing training to the business where required.
You:
- Qualified to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales with at least 4 years post qualification experience;
- Excellent training with a notable firm, in-house experience is useful but not essential; and
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This role will provide the successful lawyer with excellent scope for development, access to the senior stakeholders in the business, and a varied workload within a growing, fast-paced sector. The role will require this individual to travel to the office 4 days per week.
