Job overview
We are looking for a highly organised, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our Gastroenterology department at Kings Mill Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated and dynamic team that takes pride in providing exceptional care to patients with diabetes and endocrine conditions.
As a Patient Pathway Coordinator, you will be the vital link between our clinical team and patients, playing a key role in ensuring that patient pathways run smoothly and efficiently. You will support the department's administrative functions, contributing to the overall patient experience and ensuring that care is delivered in a timely, coordinated manner.
This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent organisational skills and a passion for healthcare administration. You will work closely with Consultants, Nurses and other healthcare professionals, helping to streamline processes and make a positive impact on patient care. Your role will also involve using a range of IT systems to track patient information and appointments, making accuracy and attention to detail crucial.

Knowledge
* Computer literate, with experience of using a keyboard with a high level of accuracy
* Knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes
* Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets i.e. PAS, Excel or similar applications
* Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems
* Confidentiality and Data Protection
