We are delighted to be partnering with this well-known medium sized accountancy firm with fantastic modern offices situated conveniently on the outskirts of Luton/Hitchin, that are currently recruiting for an ambitious accounts semi-senior to complement their highly successful medical sector department.
Role Requirements –
1. With a focus towards clients in the medical sector (GPs, surgeries, and partnerships), prepare year-end financial statements in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105 using IRIS.
2. Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns and peer review before submission to Companies House.
3. Preparation of superannuation certificates.
4. Production of self-assessment personal tax returns for manager/partner review and submission to the HMRC.
5. Preparation of monthly management accounts for clients.
6. Liaising with clients to resolve/action outstanding queries and with the HMRC on their behalf.
7. Supporting and reviewing the work of more junior members of staff.
Person Requirements -
1. AAT qualified and ideally studying towards the ACA qualification, with at least 3 years’ experience gained working for a UK based practice at a trainee or semi-senior accountant level.
2. Proficient in the use of various accounting software such as Iris, Quickbooks, Sage 50, XERO, Virtual Cabinet.
