Job Description
* Lead and supervise the risk team to ensure the effective management of risk across the company.
* Develop and maintain risk management policies in line with regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to senior management and stakeholders.
* Create and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure risk management principles are understood and applied.
* Keep up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure the company's compliance.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management procedures.
* Manage and oversee insurance programmes for the company.
The Successful Applicant
* A successful 'Head of Risk' should have:
* A qualified lawyer in England and Wales
* A strong background in risk management within the legal industry.
* A degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related field.
* Adept at leading teams and managing complex projects.
* Excellent knowledge of risk assessment methods and frameworks.
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
