Summary:
The general nature and level of this job requires knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform complex, technical, and/or administrative assignments with several variables and alternatives. The Fleet Department manages approximately 8,000 light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks as well as trailers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare various types of analytics on fleet data for management.
2. Utilize SAP to enter Goods Receipts for purchased vehicles.
3. Maintain data accuracy in Fleet database by proactively extracting and analyzing data and interacting with drivers and management on a periodic basis.
4. Maintain driver assignments and data in fleet management database.
5. Manage Fleet Management email inbox, responding to requests in a timely manner.
6. Gather data related to fleet utilization, complete required reports and document and compare results with established standards.
7. Provide ongoing evaluation of TBD and spare vehicles for possible reassignments or disposals.
8. Assist with the training of area/field personnel in administrative procedures and methods, which include use of computer software programs/applications.
9. Prepare and/or assist in research and preparation of requests for information, special projects, and reports requested by Operations and Engineering, other departments, and third parties.
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
11. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with all levels of organization.
12. Excellent organizational skills and follow-through skills required.
13. Ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
14. Perform a variety of duties requiring use of independent judgment and technical knowledge.
15. Work with confidential information, such as personnel changes and personal employee data.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
2. 2-5 years of analytical experience, preferably in the gas transmission industry, in any of the following areas: cost or budget analysis; system or procedures analysis; or project administration or analysis.
3. Software knowledge requirements: Outlook, Excel, and SAP a plus. Possess the ability to learn new software products.
4. Proficient professional communication skills to deal with situations under stressful situations.
5. Ability to work in a professional manner regardless of the situation.
6. Must have good time management and highly organized to have the ability to deal with high volume of data.
7. Must be able to perform multi-task operations with frequent interruptions.
8. Must be able to demonstrate the capacity to be self-motivated, handling multiple projects with little supervision.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
* The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience.
* The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job-related experience.
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
