LECTURER – A LEVEL COMPUTER SCIENCE (Lewes) Part time, 14 hours per week, permanent post. Up to £39,808 p.a. (pro rata for part time). An enthusiastic, well-qualified and experienced professional is required to join our committed A Level team. The post will include teaching Year 1 and Year 2 A Level Computer Science and could potentially be increased to include A Level Maths. Successful candidates will have a clear track record of securing good outcomes for students. They will have an understanding of the importance of raising the standard of teaching, intervening and using a range of strategies to raise achievement. Knowledge and experience of monitoring student progress and effective use of student data systems to raise standards are also essential for this post. Applicants need to provide evidence of preparing and delivering high-quality lessons that engage students and to use differentiated objectives and formative assessment for ensuring the progress of all students. Candidates should have a relevant degree (or equivalent), a teaching qualification, post-qualification experience and a student-centred approach to teaching and learning.
