Working with one of BakerHicks' key clients in the Nuclear sector, working in a highly regulated environment subject to strict security and safety requirements, this client provides customers with engineering and project management services, as well as digital services and solutions to optimize the performance of complex infrastructure projects throughout their life cycle. You will join this client team as a Risk Manager, working onsite with their end client, supporting the upgrade and maintenance of facilities and future programs. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team where you'll drive technical risk management at both project and programme levels, driving successful outcomes across exciting initiatives. This role is a 12 month contract, and will require 3 days onsite at the end client facilities. Responsibilities Facilitate Risk Workshops – Identify and manage threats, opportunities, and issues on medium-complexity projects. Data Mastery – Collect, organize, and interpret supplier risk and modeling data to enhance client risk profiles. Continuous Improvement – Drive efforts to improve risk management processes across the board. Team Management – Guide and mentor junior team members in the risk management space. Risk Reporting – Keep project teams updated on risks and opportunities, ensuring proactive management. Risk Management Plans – Support teams in crafting comprehensive risk management plans. Quantitative Risk Assessments – Conduct cost and schedule risk assessments to inform project contingency levels Requirements Experience as part of a large/medium-complexity project team or as a specialist/work stream lead on small, low-complexity projects. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts. Proven ability to oversee virtual teams across functional, organizational, or geographic boundaries to deliver high-quality results Engineering or project management qualifications Current/ existing SC clearance Willing and able to travel to site 3x per week Many of the positions within our company are subject to security clearance.
