Job Description:
A position has arisen within the Acute Services Directorate for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual, who has the desire to develop on a personal and professional basis, and who will deliver a quality secretarial service to the Specialty Team.
You will have an HNC or SVQ 111 in Secretarial Studies / Business Administration with relevant secretarial/audio typing or relevant experience, together with a sound knowledge of office procedures, the ability to work accurately under pressure, work co-operatively within a team and have a mature outlook.
Duties of the post will include:
* Provide a quality audio typing service to ensure the smooth operation of clinical letters within Acute Services Directorate.
* Manage patient enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner.
Medical terminology is desirable together with good organisational skills and flexibility in approach to work, which are essential.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
