We are looking for an experienced Direct Procurement Manager to oversee and drive our procurement function, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and agility in a fast-paced Formula 1 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals to ensure a professional and efficient procurement function.
* Develop and implement strategic procurement improvement plans.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, identifying new opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
* Ensure competitive costs while meeting quality and delivery targets.
* Establish and monitor supplier KPIs, ensuring adherence to performance standards.
* Oversee procurement of raw materials, proprietary, and manufactured components.
* Coordinate internally manufactured component parts for external supply.
* Work closely with internal departments to develop a reliable and sustainable supply chain.
* Maintain and develop knowledge of ERP systems, specifically IFS.
* Attend and proactively participate in meetings, providing insights and leadership.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Extensive experience in direct procurement within motorsport or high-level manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of composite, metallic, and proprietary products.
* Understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and supplier requirements.
* Proven experience leading a procurement team, ideally within a Formula 1 or high-performance motorsport environment.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Willingness to travel as required for the role.

This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
