To carry out any tests or treatments as requested by clinicians or nurses prior to the patients consultation or treatment. To be able to prioritise. To ensure that the patients journey through clinics is smooth. To liaise with other members of the multidisciplinary team who may also be working on clinics. To work with the multidisciplinary team when discussing patient management. To always provide patient care in accordance with department SOPs and standards and Trust policies Always work within the guidelines set down in Trust policies. Be aware of personal responsibilities surrounding health and safety. Contribute to any initiatives regarding service development and its implementation. Contribute to any departmental audits. To have awareness of all issues relating to clinical governance including risk assessments. To work as a team member and be a role model to new and student nurses.
