Salary: Circa £65,000 + company vehicle
Position: Project Manager
Fourblue are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join an expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in a similar role, particularly within the electrical or construction sectors, to take ownership of key projects and contribute to the delivery of engineering excellence.
Our client is a leading provider of electrical engineering services, specialising in delivering high-quality, bespoke solutions for a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, and residential. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
* Project Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning and scheduling of all assigned projects, ensuring resources are allocated and timelines are adhered to
* Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all project plans and updates are clearly communicated
* Health, Safety & Environmental Oversight: Lead Inaugural Site Safety Meetings (ISSMs) and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements across all projects
* Documentation Management: Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring distribution to all relevant stakeholders and staff members.
* Project Delivery: Oversee all aspects of project coordination, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish. Work with the Project Supervisor to ensure materials and technical drawings are prepared in advance
* SHEQ Compliance: Collaborate with the SHEQ advisor to ensure projects meet ISO:14001 & ISO:45001 standards for health, safety, and environmental performance
* Commercial Reporting: Provide detailed commercial reports to monitor and ensure project profitability
* Team Support: Offer technical and operational guidance to installation teams, ensuring that on-site engineers are fully supported throughout the project lifecycle
Criteria for the Project Manager:
* Level 7 CSM qualification (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in the electrical or construction industry
* Experience in SHEQ management and compliance
* Solid understanding of commercial aspects of project delivery, including budgeting and cost control
