Prepworld is looking for a National Account Exectuive (NAE) on maternity cover contract. the NAE will report to the Commercial Manager(s) and collaborate with and support across key business functions in delivering a strong relationship both with our key customers and internally. In this hands-on, operationally led, role they will have responsibility for the following areas: Main duties: Manage the day-to-day relationships with PrepWorld’s key business functions. Support in maintaining & developing existing customer relationships across specific business functions Ownership of ensuring PrepWorld’s compliance across key metrics for specific customer accounts Ensure a comprehensive knowledge of the relevant customers end to end supply chain functions Manage the day-to-day relationships with some of PrepWorld’s smaller but integral customer accounts Provide support in delivering projected product sales and volume growth. Support in maximising potential for sales growth & achievement of increased volumes. Ensure a comprehensive working knowledge of all relevant product data to support the end to end supply chain Take responsibility for all aspects of order fulfilment ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all relevant information both internally and externally and work closely with the customer supply chain Spend at least 1 day each week in M&S HO working with the customer Supply Chain and any other relevant departments to ensure we are operationally aligned Undertake customer specific project work to support in maximising operational efficiencies that meet the needs of both Prepworld and the customer Monitor and review Prepworld compliance against key customer metrics Agreeing business plans with the customer Develop and present proposals to maximise sales and profit for Prepworld and the customer. Maintain and update annual account plans to deliver corporate objectives. Drive the accuracy and delivery of monthly sales forecasts – working with supply chain, factory planning, finance. To ensure attention to detail in the application of budgets & year end re-forecasts – working closely with relevant functions to deliver required information. Support with the implementation of promotional and commercial activity plans, ensuring promotions are communicated, forecasted, delivered, and then evaluated in a timely manner. To liaise with customers to ensure fulfilment of the highest levels of customer service. Manage internal systems such as Nav to maintain correct price files. Ensure ‘good housekeeping’ of all relevant data with the aim of right first time. Support in the delivery of periodic performance reviews and customer scorecard reviews (period, YTD, FY) with the account, incorporating sales and category performance overviews. Support in delivering quarterly performance review to the internal business. Consideration of completion of other tasks relating to customer tenders including, category insight, rationale & data, sample build documents, submission documents, benchmarks, nutritional information, packaging, fruit availability etc. Regular attendance at key internal meetings such as NPD, 8 Weekly fruit overviews Travel to other Company or customer off-site meeting locations will be required from time to time.
