To support the organisation’s growth, we have created a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Winchester finance team. This role will be a permanent, full-time or part-time (30 hours per week) position based in Winchester with both hybrid (you can work from home up to 2 days per week if you wish) and flexible working options (flexing your hours on different days to suit your lifestyle). The Role This is a brand-new role that has been created to manage the financial reporting, management accounts preparation and day-to-day financial operations of several companies within the Group. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to: Record and post the day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments Prepare and file VAT returns Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts and other financial accounts Supporting with budgeting and forecasting Identify, investigate and resolve any account discrepancies Manage the accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, preparing payments and maintaining supplier records Ad hoc reporting and analysis Balance sheet management and reconciliation Produce draft financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet Identify ways that processes and reporting can be improved and drive these improvements Collaborating with the Finance team on various projects What we can offer you Hybrid and flexible working A friendly and supportive team environment Joining a company with an exciting growth plan ahead Entry into our Management Development Programme to develop leadership potential A partner level mentor and a tailored career progression plan Competitive salary and benefits package including pension, life assurance, health cash plan, retail discount scheme, electric vehicles salary sacrifice, and cycle to work scheme.
