We require a part time Student and Family Support Manager to join our team at Earl Mortimer College. It is an exciting time to be joining the hardworking and committed staff at Earl Mortimer College. Main Purpose of the Job: • Working with pupils and their families to promote their overall health and welfare and develop their full potential • Providing emotional support to pupils • Empowering and enabling families through the signposting of services • Being able to communicate and cooperate with social workers, family support workers, multi agency staff, internal staff and families in face to face and online meetings • Making referrals for pupils to mental health services • Coordinating pupil referrals to the school nursing team • Taking responsibility for the Early Help caseload • Maintaining records and reports on the personal and social needs of pupils and presenting information to the Principal, parents and governors as required • Being responsible for the case load of Child in Need referrals • Attending TAF meetings • Providing effective support to the designated/deputy safeguarding lead • Having the capacity to undertake home visits as and when required We will offer you: • Students who are eager to learn, happy to be at EMC and willing to work hard. • State of the art resources, teaching facilities and ICT. • A personalised approach to Professional Development which will develop your skills so that you are ready for the next stage of your career.
