Our Farnborough based client has recently secured a large MOD contract and is looking for a versatile Operations Manager to support the Technical Director in running multiple complex projects.
A fabulous opportunity to play a key part in the growth of this small international business and lead the business in its accreditation and certification.
The Operations Manager will be:
Supporting the Technical Director with the coordination of complex contracts and managing documentation
Coordinating the project timelines, liaising with all stakeholders to ensure project efficiency and deadlines are met
Working with national and international agencies to achieve and maintain product and business accreditation and certification
Producing financial and management reports for the business
Communicating with the remotely based Engineers and Consultants
Attending online and in-person meetings, taking detailed minutes and actioning as needed
Liaising with external test houses, organising and managing testing timelines.We’re looking for:
An adaptable, resilient candidate with previous operational support experience
Experience working within an engineering/product related environment would be ideal, but not essential
Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
A keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage information accurately and efficiently
The ability to understand and work with complex documents
An aptitude for picking up technical information
A proactive approach, keen to suggest improvements
Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise own workload
Strong IT and systems skills.This is a full-time role based 5 days a week in the Farnborough office, working 9am to 5pm Mon to Thurs, 9am to 4pm Friday
