Role: The Transport Compliance Coordinator (TCC) will support the Transport Compliance Manager/Supervisor in managing compliance-related tasks within the transport department. This role is critical in mitigating the risk of operational disruptions by assisting in the management of the below roles and responsibilities. This role is designed to ensure operational continuity, and provide an opportunity for professional growth within the company. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 16:30pm Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of transport activities. Update compliance databases (e.g., Fleetcheck, Tru-tac). Organize and file compliance documents, with a focus on transitioning to digital records. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits. Conduct preliminary checks and compile audit reports. Follow up on audit findings and document corrective actions. Track updates in transport regulations. Summarise changes and their potential impacts on operations. Assist in implementing new compliance procedures. Generate regular compliance reports for management. Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare presentations and summaries for team meetings. Help develop training materials for drivers and staff on compliance topics. Coordinate training sessions and track attendance. Assist in delivering training sessions. Perform routine inspections of vehicles and equipment. Document findings and report any non-compliance issues. Assist in the follow-up and resolution of compliance issues. Liaise with customers and vendors to ensure compliance with transport regulations. Respond to inquiries and provide information on compliance requirements. Assist in resolving compliance-related disputes. Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics for compliance-related activities. Manage correspondence and communications within the team. Assist with general administrative tasks to support the compliance function. Requirements: C grade in Maths and English Language GCSE or Equivalent. Transport Manager CPC would be desirable for this role. Previous experience of load planning and transport compliance or logistics would be desirable. Geographical & Drivers hours knowledge would be an advantage.
