Job Description
AJ Group are currently working with a leading Data Centre developer to appoint a Commissioning Manager. This role will oversee the multi-location commissioning phase as part of a core client-side team.
1. Spot witnessing of earlier stages of commissioning and full attendance, and sign-off of Integrated System Testing activities.
2. Attend Design coordination meetings through design stages Stage 3 & 4 to input on the commissioning ability of the design and to begin forming the commissioning approach.
3. Own the commissioning process and the commissioning document approval process.
4. Review new or proposed customer contracts to assess any implications on commissioning of related facilities.
5. Distribute commissioning plan, scripts, reports to the teams for review, comment or approval, collating client feedback.
6. Share the commissioning plan, scripts and reports with the client, leading commissioning presentations with support from suppliers.
7. Collate design information ready for commissioning consultant/owners engineer design review.
8. Propose design changes based on commissioning ability reviews and third-party design reviews.
9. Arrange Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Emergency Operating Procedure (EOP) workshops.
10. Agree and plan the load bank and Power Quality Monitoring locations and specification.
11. Define the scope of thermal imaging.
12. Witness Level 1 Factory Type Testing of any new equipment.
13. Arrange and guide client witnessing of commissioning.
