Job Description
Aeropeople Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to fill a key role within their Electrical Verification Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying and validating the power system, conducting analysis, and performing calculations to support the maturity and design of the electrical platform.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions, as well as experience conducting electrical load budget and load flow analysis. Proficiency in power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB) and effective stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.
As a Principal Power Systems Electrical Engineer, the successful candidate will work closely with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and project delivery. They will also be required to prepare technical reports, calculations, and presentations communicating results and advising recommendations.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Conducting load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of an electrical power system.
2. Management and analysis of the electrical load budget.
3. Developing and validating electrical models.
4. Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on matters related to the power system.
5. Preparing technical reports, calculations, and presentations communicating results and advising recommendations.
6. Developing and mentoring other team members.

About You
To be considered for this role, you must hold a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience, be Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership, and possess knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions.
You should also have experience conducting electrical load budget and load flow analysis, understand power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB), and effectively manage stakeholders. A British passport and 5 years' residency in the UK are mandatory for eligibility to apply for SC clearance.
