This is a hybrid role which combines working from home for some of the week, with office and site visits.

How you’ll change it up
As a Build Delivery Manager, you’ll help us fulfil our ambition of delivering Fibre to the Home (FTTH) to 8 million premises across the UK. You’ll be responsible for all deliverables against your assigned workstreams including safeguarding against all risks to safety, cost, quality, and delivery on time. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:
1. Being accountable for programme governance, risk mitigation, change management and commercial controls
2. Responsible for financial planning, controls and reporting against the annual budget in excess of £10 - £40m
3. Line managing a team of up to 12 direct reports, including coaching, developing, and mentoring to drive performance
4. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple highways authorities
5. Managing operational relationships with all suppliers, providing a clear and articulate view of progress across agreed delivery plans
6. Managing multiple interfaces within a matrix environment, demonstrating effective communication and stakeholder skills
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll have strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing large complex delivery programmes through partners and suppliers. You’ll also bring the following:
7. Fibre Optic / Cabling Installation experience (certifications where applicable)
8. NRSWA Qualification
9. Experience building and maintaining strong senior level relationships, internally and externally, to drive positive outputs
10. Demonstrable experience in a leadership role where KPIs such as time, cost and quality have been key to success
11. Full Driver’s License that is valid in the UK
