Role purpose
CHG_MERIDIAN is looking for an 'A-Player' Sales performer who is a well rounded individual that combines expertise, passion, integrity and innovation to drive sustainable growth and make a meaningful impact.
As a Technology Account Manager you are responsible for sourcing and developing new business opportunities with targeted prospects/customers as well as delivering high quality customer focused solutions in a cost-effective manner.
Areas of responsibility
* Actively pursue new business / lead development with targeted prospects / customers as agreed with Head of Sales and in line with the customer acquisition strategy
* Achieve targeted sales goals
* Drive demand & build relationships with CIO, ICT, Procurement, Finance, HR, customer service departments and all involved in the buying centre process
* Work with partners to gain direct customer engagement
* Manage end-to-end lifecycle relationships
* Create customer specific proposals, deal structures and calculations
* Maintain and report up to date CRM pipeline activity and account plans
* Plan, prepare and execute sales and marketing campaigns in conjunction with defined prospects and support from Marketing
* Manage enquiries from prospects and customers in respect of the process of securing credit approval and the completion of all pertinent finance documentation and to liaise with the CHG operations team as necessary.
* Arrange and attend meetings to develop new business relationships
* Build and maintain a network of relevant contacts: prospects, customers and suppliers
Required skills
* Previous background in ICT with some level of sales experience
* Strong analytical and project management skills, ability to handle complex, service-oriented customer solutions
* Able to influence, advise and work in partnership with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining effective relationships, with the confidence to initiate new contacts and relationships
* Excellent IT office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and liaise with individuals at all levels of the organisation
