Teacher of Technology
Permanent, Full Time
We seek to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and conscientious teacher of Technology to join a very supportive, highly regarded and successful department.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach Technology across the ability and age range, KS3, KS4, KS5 and including the development of post 16. The candidate will be confident that they can raise standards of attainment and levels of progress through their teaching of Technology.
This post offers an ideal opportunity for a person who will be an ECT or has recently qualified and is looking to develop within a rejuvenated Technology department. The successful candidate will be able to teach GCSE Design and Technology, WJEC Construction and A Level Product Design. The right candidate will need to possess a real commitment to delivering high quality lessons for all students and will be creative and able to share teaching materials / resources with colleagues.
The right candidate will also have high expectations of pupil behaviour and be able to establish a consistent level of student discipline throughout all lessons, maintaining productive and respectful relationships with students.
