The Opportunity Join Holcim UKas a Rail Operations Planner at Land Recovery Rail (LRR) Ltd, where youll play a key role in managing resource planning and ensuring smooth project operations. This role involves assigning required resources, maintaining project files, and coordinating staff training and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the resourcing of all short-term and long-term projects, inputting planned rosters into One Drive. Manage day-to-day rostering for LRR Ltd, including monitoring Roomex for accommodation bookings. Administer annual leave and absence, ensuring adequate resource levels at all times. Monitor fatigue management of Sentinel Sponsored staff, tracking planned and actual working hours. Ensure Authority to Work Cards are maintained, updated, and sent to employees. Arrange training and assessment events, following company and awarding body policies. Register training/assessment events with appropriate awarding body websites in line with scheme requirements. Maintain accurate entries on internal and external systems, such as IROPA, Signal, Sentinel, and Roomex. Prepare pre-training/assessment checks, registers, course materials, and registrations, following company procedures. Raise purchase orders for training/assessment events as needed. Provide summary reports to the management team and contribute to Quarterly Business Compliance and Management Review Meetings. Undertake additional duties as agreed with your line manager to cover holiday and sickness periods. Who You Are You are an experienced Rail Operations Planner with excellent organisational and administrative skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You thrive in a structured environment, ensuring compliance and efficiency across all areas of project management. Previous experience in a similar role, with a history of working with internal and external clients. Strong clerical and administrative abilities, with knowledge of office procedures and IT systems. Confident in dealing with clients and customers, with an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to plan, organise, and monitor multiple activities effectively. Skilled in maintaining accurate records, managing diaries, and ensuring high standards of document control. NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent would be advantageous. Benefits ??
