THE COMPANY: Our client, based in Co.
Tyrone, is one of the UK and Irelands largest manufacturers of steel lintels and masonry support systems.
Well renowned for their products in the construction trade, their products can be found in buildings throughout the UK and Ireland and is a popular choice with architects and builders alike.
Due to continued success, our client is current looking to hire a new Technical Engineer to join their team THE ROLE: The successful Technical Engineer will be based in our clients head office in Tyrone, and will be responsible for a variety of duties including: Working on both one off house build projects, as well as large scale housing and building developments Liaise with clients and architects to full understand the specification and scope of works Responsible for product selection as well as running load calculations Formulate quotations and assist on larger scale tenders Preparation of technical submittals Oversee work carried out by detailers and design dept.
To ensure compliance with client specifications Act as a liaison to both in house and external stakeholders throughout the process including at presales stage, production stage and construction stage Site visits may be carried out, but are rare THE PERSON: For this Technical Engineer, we are looking to speak with ambitious candidates, looking to grow and develop their career further.
You will ideally have: Third level degree qualified within an Engineering discipline e.g.
civil engineering, structural engineering, architectural technology, construction management, or similar This role will suit recent Graduates, as well as candidate in the early stages of their career Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is advantageous.
Self-driven individuals with strong organisational skills are needed.
Excellent communication and administration skills are necessary.
