Salary: Police Staff Scale 6 (PIP1) £30,783 to £32,772 and SO1 (PIP2), £33,915 to £35,982 per annum or pro rata for part time

Police Staff Investigators support our front line officers with a wide range of investigative activities including, but not limited to, statement taking, securing and reviewing CCTV, suspect interviewing, Offences Taken into Consideration (TIC’s), intelligence interviews and file building including disclosure declarations.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are looking for experienced investigators who are able to travel to a range of locations. This opportunity offers a chance to join a professional and dedicated team carrying out a wide variety of investigations.
This is a non-case-holding role therefore will be supportive as action team member working within the area Criminal Investigation Departments and working with current investigators in dealing with Serious and Complex crimes.
We are looking for PIP 1 or 2 or equivalent individuals who have proven experience of working within an investigatory type role, ideally with a working knowledge and experience of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice procedures.
This role will suit an experienced Detective or Police Constable, Detective or Police Sergeant, Detective or Police Inspector, Police Staff Investigator or Civilian Investigator looking to deploy skills and experience built up through previous police service.

Essential Qualifications
Qualified to PIP 1 or 2 or equivalent
Experienced Detective or Police Constable, Detective or Police Sergeant, Detective or Police Inspector and upwards, Police Staff Investigator or Civilian Investigator
