Responsibilities
Oversee the referral and assessment process to ensure timely and effective responses to service users.
Manage, support, and develop a team of social workers and administrative staff to achieve high standards of practice.
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to referral and assessment.
Conduct regular audits and reviews of assessment practices to ensure compliance and drive improvements.
Liaise with external agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
Provide training and development opportunities for staff to improve skills and knowledge.
Facilitate regular team meetings and provide supervision to ensure a supportive work environment.
Requirements
A relevant social work qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
Substantial experience in social work practice, particularly in referral and assessment.
Demonstrated leadership and management experience within a social care setting.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate complex situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
