Position: First Line Manager (Single Operations Centre)
Location: Gatwick Airport
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, Rotational, 2 days & 2 Nights (0400-1600 / 1600-0400)

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include:
1. Managing the flow of aircraft and passengers in and out of Gatwick Airport, working closely with the easyJet team based in the Integrated Control Centre.
2. Being a Single Operations Centre First Line Manager, this role also involves line management responsibilities, including practicing DHL HR practices daily and managing TOBT and messengers.
3. Overseeing and setting up the day's flying schedule in collaboration with stand planners to deliver a flawless stand plan for live aircraft, and supervising the towing programme to ensure safety and achievability.
4. Providing information to the Integrated Control Centre and third parties regarding last-minute tail changes to ensure smooth operations. Remaining calm and professional under pressure is essential, as requests can come from various sources, representing DHL and easyJet professionally.
5. Managing safety incidents reported through safety nets and contributing to the continuous improvement of safety in our operations.
Now, here's what we need from you:
* Previous onsite Operations experience
* Familiarity with all Company and Airline Ground Handling Manuals (advantageous)
* Leadership qualities, professionalism, and excellent team spirit
