Job Title: Inclusive Recovery Cities Lead
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Hourly Pay: £12.00
Overview: As the Inclusive Recovery Cities Lead, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the daily operations of a community engagement program within the organisation. Reporting directly to the DATUS Operations Manager, you will provide guidance, leadership, and support to ensure the effective delivery of recovery support services to individuals facing various challenges.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Leadership and Management:
Implement the plan for the program, aligning it with organisational objectives and priorities.
Oversee daily aspects of program operations, including health and safety, planning, spend, attendance, and evaluation, to ensure the successful achievement of program goals.
Provide leadership and direction to Deputy Leads, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Monitor the team’s performance and output, making decisions to optimise program effectiveness and impact.
2. Engagement and Collaboration:
Improve and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and other relevant organisations.
Communicate with stakeholders to identify needs, trends, and opportunities in the delivery of recovery support services.
Represent the community engagement programs in meetings, conferences, and other forums, advocating for the interests and needs of program participants and the broader community.
3. Resource Development and Leadership:
Lead efforts to secure partners and resources for the organisation's programs.
Ensure awareness of program spends, ensuring responsibility and accountability in accordance with organisational processes.
Identify opportunities for program growth and expansion, exploring new partnerships to support program sustainability and scalability.
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Maintain systems for monitoring and evaluating program performance, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the delivery of recovery support services.
Implement quality improvement initiatives based on evaluation findings and stakeholder feedback, driving improvements of program outcomes and impact.
Requirements:
1. Certification in a relevant field (e.g. Leadership, Addiction Awareness) may be preferred.
2. Experience of leading a team preferably in the field of addiction support, behavioural health, or social services.
3. Experience working with individuals in recovery and knowledge of recovery support services and resources is desirable.
4. Good leadership planning skills, with a proven track record of success in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
6. Knowledge of recovery principles and evidence-based practices in the field of addiction.
7. Familiarity with relevant regulations, policies and procedures, and standards for delivery of the recovery support services.
8. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in program planning and implementation.
9. Good knowledge and competence in computer applications for data management and reporting.
10. Ability to travel locally and work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed.
