We currently have an exciting opportunity to join East Suffolk Services Transport, Fleet and Workshop Team as a Light Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester. Your role As part of our Workshops Team, you will inspect, service, maintain, diagnose, and repair vehicles to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet health and safety and legal requirements. You will carry out high quality MOT tests (Class 4, 5 and 7). You will also attend breakdown callouts and ensure all internal and external customers receive excellent customer service. This role is Monday to Friday with only the occasional Saturday which provides a good work-life balance. What you will need You will be a hard-working team player, who can work on your own initiative, using your technical expertise to make sound judgements. You will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance Repair, be qualified to DVSA standards for MOT class 4, 5 and 7 inspections and hold a City and Guilds full technical certificate in motor vehicle studies. A Category B Driving Licence is an essential requirement of this role.
