We're looking for a Sub Agent to join our Regional Civils team based at Bridgwater Tidal Barrier in Somerset.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Sub Agent, you'll be working within the Regional Civils team, supporting them by working on a collaborative Delivery Framework with the Environment Agency delivering schemes across the Southwest.
Your day to day will include:
* Assisting with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as method statements, environmental and quality plans, construction programmes, procurement and design delivery schedules.
* Liaising with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant materials, and temporary works to carry out required activities.
* Managing the site engineering team, being responsible for the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
* Identifying and resolving problems arising from technical site issues in liaison with the Agent.
* Ensuring site teams have the required documentation, information, and resources to carry out their duties.
What are we looking for?
This role of Sub Agent is great for you if:
* You hold a relevant HNC/degree.
* You have experience and knowledge of the practical application of site engineering activities combined with supervision skills.
* You hold a CSCS card - Supervisor Gold, experienced Supervisor, or Manager.
