Job Description
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic team member to act as a Guest Service Assistant for the Night team. As a Guest Service Assistant, you’ll deliver a friendly and efficient service to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests and ensure they have a great experience. You’ll be attentive to our guests' needs from the moment they arrive, make recommendations, and serve accurately and efficiently. You will be totally guest-focused, ensuring we are creating memorable stays for all our guests, consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly, and effective approach.

Role in our Family
As a Guest Service Assistant (Nights), your key responsibilities include:
* Welcoming guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner, recognising IHG Rewards Club Members and returning guests.
* Answering, recording, and processing all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns, and recording guest preferences in the system.
* Communicating any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
* Booking guest reservations for individuals that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; processing cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
* Working as part of a team and communicating with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
* Performing other duties as assigned including serving at the bar, cleaning, and actioning special guest requests.
