An excellent opportunity has arisen in our Digital Transformation Programme.
We are looking for a highly-driven, enthusiastic, and well-organised Business Systems Developer to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. You will work closely with various departments across the council, including the Project Management Office (PMO), Service Operations, and ICT, to enhance and streamline the council’s digital systems. This role is pivotal in driving the council’s Digital Transformation initiatives by developing, integrating, and maintaining key systems.
We are keen to attract candidates from all industries who may have relevant transferrable skills in areas such as system development, user experience, business process design and digital delivery.
You will have good experience of end to end processes development, integrating and improving digital services. You should be a highly organised; outcome focused individual with good negotiating and influencing skills. You will be confident in challenging existing practice and developing new, innovative approaches as part of a proactive team in a dynamic change environment.
Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
