An additional market supplement premium applies to this role – this will be discussed at interview About the role: The Court Team manage care plans for those children before the Court. The role will lead a small team of social work practitioners, supporting them to provide high quality assessments and evidence to the courts, including direct work with children and young people. To ensure children’s lived experiences and their voice are evidenced and fed into their care planning. The role/team will support the service to shift focus towards Pre-proceedings, inline with the PLO Relaunch. About you: You will be passionate about supporting change for children and families and/or carers. You will be organised and flexible to meet the needs of those that you are supporting. You will have good communication and written skills. You will be able to identify risk and formulate safety plans, utilising strengths based practice You will have a firm understanding of the PLO Relaunch and its implementation within practice What you will do: The individual will lead a small team of social work practitioners, focusing upon children’s care plans before the court Provide solid leadership skills to the team Provide expert guidance and advice to the wider service around the Public Law Outline Support the Care and Support Service in driving forward the aims of the PLO relaunch Provide high quality, reflective supervision to the team This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check Location - North Powys
