Please see the full Welsh advert attached. What it's like to work here You'll be part of the Visitor Experience team at a busy property supporting Volunteers and Volunteer Managers. Our fantastic team of volunteers at Penrhyn deliver great visitor experiences as well as supporting with behind-the-scenes conservation work, craft projects and gardening. As the Volunteering and Community Officer, you'll be co-ordinating the volunteer journey and working with Volunteer Managers to find new opportunities to recruit volunteers. Click here for more information about this location Penrhyn Castle and Garden | Wales | National Trust What you'll be doing Penrhyn has around 100 volunteers supporting the property within a wide range of roles. Day to day you will support our volunteer managers to ensure that our volunteers get a consistent experience. Working with volunteer managers you will ensure that inductions are carried out and that volunteers have the tools to help them deliver their roles. You will work on identifying gaps in our volunteer offer and create recruitment drives both internally and with external partners. We want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy access to our places. To achieve this, we need to reach new audiences in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them.You'll be focusing on supporting volunteers and volunteer managers to ensure that the volunteer journey is consistent and complies with volunteering best practice. Working with the Visitor Operations and Experience Manager you'll create a volunteering plan. You'll support volunteer managers to recruit volunteers and will be a link to volunteering networks in North Wales.
