Job summary This post is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Northumbria Health and Care Academy team as pastoral support. The post holder will receive a bespoke training package from the Trust and the University of Sunderland as part of the Partnership to deliver academic programmes at the Academy. The post holder will provide pastoral support to staff undertaking education and training at the Academy, devising, developing and coordinating pastoral and learning support plans. Desirable oRelevant Vocational Qualification for assessment and verification purposes (D32/33; A1; D34 or V1) oRelevant Teaching Qualification e.g. PTTLS/DTTLS/PGCE/ENB 7318 or equivalent Coaching/mentoring qualification Safeguarding knowledge Experience and Knowledge Essential Specialist knowledge of Learning and education best practice gained via previous experience. In depth knowledge of post employment support requirements, a good understanding of the Equality Act (2010) A sound knowledge of Learning and education to be able to advise managers on relative aspects of Education (internal and external).
