Global Learning & Development Manager
As Global Learning & Development Manager, you will facilitate our continued growth in our Basingstoke HQ, Dubai office and planned US expansion. Reporting directly to our Co-Founders, you will be a core member of the leadership team overseeing the day-to-day operations of the L&D function.
The role will be perfect for an individual passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences for all levels and growing successful training programmes.
What you’ll get up to:
* Developing and expanding a comprehensive training strategy that will ensure employees develop the knowledge and skills required to meet our growth plans.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the shaping and development of an L&D strategy that drives business improvements.
* Identify and select training resources to support the delivery of the training needs.
* Support multiple office locations on an international footing, including quarterly travel to Dubai and USA.
* Develop the performance management process and ensure this is built into our strategy for continuous improvement.
* Work with all functions to develop training programmes across the organisation including Sales, Delivery and Operations.
* Build performance coaching and leadership programmes for senior staff.
* Own the LMS platform and recommend improvements.
* Maintain robust and detailed training records and skills competence.
* Deliver induction training to all new employees and team members.
* Continuous improvement of the product training system with development paths available for all employees.
* Development of specific training paths to attract and develop graduates to Directors.
* Support the succession planning process for all employees and support upskilling of all employees.
Skills/Experience Required
Essential:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
* Solid and demonstrable L&D experience designing and delivering training solutions in a recruitment environment.
* Experience of crafting and implementing L&D modules at all levels.
* Self-starter with the ability to operate in a start-up organisation with significant growth aspirations.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present where required.
* Excellent writing skills to design and develop learning materials and to report on progress.
* Project management experience to ensure timescales and KPI's are met.
* Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
* Quality conscious working method and organised approach to tasks.
* Enjoy using own initiative, working unsupervised and taking responsibility.
* Able to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders (senior management, training institutes and training providers) to ensure project delivery is achieved.
* Excellent IT Skills relevant for the post with experience of using learning management systems.
