They are now seeking a highly organised and experienced Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a Partner within their busy and successful Dispute Resolution team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team of 20, including 6 Partners (two of whom are Solicitor Advocates), and contribute to the smooth running of a fast-paced and challenging practice. About the Team: The Dispute Resolution team handles a wide range of civil dispute resolution matters, including land and property litigation, commercial and contract issues, landlord and tenant disputes, planning, debt recovery, family law, and employment law. We represent clients in various courts, including Sheriff Court, Court of Session, Supreme Court, Scottish Land Court, and Lands Tribunal. About the Role: As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive and bespoke administrative and secretarial support to one of their Dispute Resolution Partners. This varied role requires exceptional organisational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage a busy and demanding schedule. You will be responsible for: Diary management and scheduling Audio typing and document production (letters, reports, presentations) Client communication and liaison File management and organisation Travel arrangements and meeting coordination General administrative support Maintaining the highest level of client service About You: The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and proactive team player with: Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, ideally within a law firm or other professional services environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in audio typing and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A professional and collaborative approach. Knowledge and understanding of Dispute Resolution practices would be advantageous but is not essential.
