A leading local accountancy firm are recruiting 2, possibly 3 key positions across accounts, audit and tax. The level of hire is open and the firm will consider most levels from Semi-Senior Accountant through to Manager grade.

The business have recently won a significant amount of work, so are seeking to hire new staff to service the needs of new clients. They “punch above their weight” in terms of client size and complexity, so whilst a good proportion of the client base is SME focused, the firm also have more sizeable and complex customers requiring audit or more advanced tax compliance and advisory work, offering great experience.
Any mix of accounts, corporation tax and audit can be offered, for the right person. The firm’s needs are 3-fold:
Accounts – Including managing a client portfolio, preparing year-end accounts, bookkeeping and potentially management accounts.
Audit – Most levels of work are available here, from testing, planning and fieldwork to completion, so those that are junior in audit or those that can lead audits will both be considered. The firm can hire from Semi-Senior through to an Audit Manager grade.
Corporation Tax – The firm have an excess number of CT returns currently, which can be a job in itself, but the firm will also consider splitting these responsibilities across a mixed role, involving accounts, or hiring into a mixed tax position with personal and corporate compliance, plus advisory.
