This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately. This vacancy offers competitive rates. What will your responsibilities be? The post-holder will contribute directly and indirectly to a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all patients of the service, across all settings and agencies serving the client group and ensure that all members of multidisciplinary teams have access to a psychologically based framework for understanding clients of the service through the provision of advice, consultation and the dissemination of psychological research and theory. The post holder will undertake neuropsychology assessment of people who may have dementia as part of the diagnostic process if needed. The post holder will contribute to research, audit and clinical governance tasks within the hospital. The post holder will provide line management to assistant psychologists as delegated by the lead psychologist.
