To support Abri’s objective of providing safe homes to our customers we're looking for a new External Contracts Manager to join our Property Care team, managing external contractors who deliver landlord compliance inspection, servicing and repair programmes. Our dynamic team looks after lifting equipment, legionella (water hygiene) management, active fire prevention equipment, radon gas, lightning protection and play grounds and play equipment across the south of England. With the ability to forge strong relationships with our partner providers and the confidence to drive change to support business growth, you will be at the forefront of improving and streamlining the delivery of our services. Drawing on your contract management experience, you’ll be able to; specify and schedule work in line with cyclical programme requirements and set budgets procure work complying with all tendering, financial, contractual regulations and section 20 consultation deliver contracts and cyclical programmes in line with regulation and statutory requirements. Ensure compliance with health and safety including CDM regulations ensure customer engagement and clear communication at all stages of projects We need you to be flexible in this role so you should be able to travel across our whole geography, to sites and contractor meetings, with regular office days to collaborate with colleagues. You should live within Abri’s geography and be able to commute to one of our primary offices in either Eastleigh (SO50 6AD), Bracknell (RG12 1RF) or Yeovil (BA22 8WN).
