Shorterm Group are looking for a Field Service Engineer / Mobile Technician to join a client on a permanent basis. The client is one of the largest PCV/PSV manufacturers and has a strong heritage, over 125 years in the market worldwide.

Details about the role:
1. Responsible for ensuring maximum vehicle availability for customers throughout the Midlands.
2. Working on customer sites, providing a quick and diligent service to diagnose problems and complete repairs while being health and safety conscious.
3. The role will include scheduled and reactive repairs and maintenance.
4. Completing all associated paperwork upon completion of repairs/maintenance on vehicles.
5. Company van provided, fully equipped with tools and parts as required.
6. 37-hour work week, typically between 05:00-20:00. Your line manager will communicate hours on a regular basis.
7. You will work on and learn about various vehicle drivelines, including battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell, diesel, and diesel hybrid.
Requirements:
1. Experience in the maintenance and repair of buses or heavy goods vehicles, including body, electrical, and mechanical.
2. Experience working on modern vehicles, preferably with electrical diagnostic skills using Multiplex systems.
3. Experience diagnosing and repairing engines and transmissions, as well as compressed air systems.
4. Time served PCV/LGV/HGV Technician with a recognised qualification or equivalent experience.
5. Good timekeeping, reliability, and a customer-facing mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy, always expecting a high standard of work.
6. Self-organised with good planning skills and a professional manner at all times.
7. Flexibility to do overtime (paid for) as required.
8. Computer literate and able to use Microsoft packages.
9. A Full UK Driving License.
