Application Support Team Leader (SQL & Azure) The Opportunity: ISR are recruiting for an Application Support Team Leader (SQL & Azure) on behalf of a multi-national technology company. The successful applicant will have a background in application support, primarily with SQL Server and MS Azure. You will play an important role in leading a team consisting of x1 Application Engineer and x2 Application Testers, while still being involved in support from a technical perspective. Skills and Experience BTEC or higher in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science) At least 3 years’ experience in application support and troubleshooting Knowledge of the following technologies: Microsoft SQL Server (essential) MS Azure Platform (essential) Knowledge of SAP 4HANA CRM (desirable) Scripting & Automation (desirable) MCSE or MCITP certifications (highly desirable) Prior line management experience, including conducting 1-2-1s and performance reviews Some knowledge of security standards and ITIL practices would be very useful Role and Responsibilities: Assist in logging, investigating, and rectifying all application-related incidents, problems, and changes on the customer's supported systems Oversee and execute application deployments, bug fixes, and implement changes in both Production and Non-Production environments Monitor business-critical services and applications effectively, identifying areas for improvement and implementing preventative maintenance interventions Implement and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) Supervise, mentor, and identify training needs for the application support team Participate in the 24/7 on-call rota, rotating every 1 in 6 weeks Please call James here at ISR to learn more about our client leading the way in developing the next-generation of transport mobility through innovation and transformational technology?
