What’s the Job Description?
As a Senior Fleet Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with high-value clients. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying strategic opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance fleet performance, safety, and compliance. This role requires a proactive leader who can combine exceptional customer relationship management with a deep understanding of fleet operations and technology.
What do my Core Responsibilities look like?
· Strategic Account Leadership:
Take full ownership of a portfolio of high-value accounts, fostering long-term partnerships and delivering measurable results.
· Revenue Growth:
Develop and execute strategic plans to cross-sell and upsell Simplicity Group’s full suite of fleet solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.
· Data-Driven Insights:
Leverage fleet performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, presenting actionable recommendations to clients.
· Customer Retention:
Maintain a strong focus on client retention through proactive engagement, regular performance reviews, and exceptional service delivery.
· Pipeline Development:
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities within your existing base, contributing to overall team sales targets.
· Mentorship & Collaboration:
Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and supporting the broader sales and account management team in achieving shared goals.
· Industry Thought Leadership:
Represent Simplicity Group as an expert in fleet management, participating in industry events and contributing to thought leadership initiatives.
· Technology Advocacy:
Stay informed about market trends and advancements in fleet technology to position Simplicity Group as a trusted advisor to clients
Required Skills & Experience
· Proven experience in senior account management or sales, preferably within the fleet management or B2B technology sectors.
· Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales and retention targets.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of an organisation.
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations.
· Self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills.
· Proficient in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· In-depth knowledge of fleet management solutions, telematics, or vehicle CCTV systems is highly desirable.
