Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Join our friendly and hardworking team as an HGV Class 2 Driver. You'll be on the front line handling orders, deliveries, and stock management. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success by providing a first-class service.
What will I be doing?
You will carry out multi-drop deliveries of building materials from our branch to local customers in a safe and professional manner. It is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is properly loaded, safe, and compliant with road and transport legislation.
The successful candidate will be safety-focused, ensuring work is completed safely and professionally. Our drivers are passionate about their work and delivering excellent service. We seek like-minded drivers with the same mindset and ambition.
Our Expectations of you
Our success depends on strong customer relationships, so delivering high standards of service is essential. Be helpful and friendly at all times, as you will likely know our customers by name.
Safety is paramount. You will maintain a tidy and safe working environment, ensuring standards are upheld.
Experience with a HIAB is preferable but not essential. Experience driving lorries between 12-16 tonnes is also desirable.

You will join the team at Helston Travis Perkins, a well-established and competitive branch with a focus on sales and service. As the HGV driver for this branch, you will be at the forefront of our customer-facing operations. Our team of 8 strives to provide the best service in town, and we are looking for someone enthusiastic and driven to enhance our branch.
Experience with multi-drop HGV driving is essential, and HIAB experience is preferable. We value the right attitude towards our branch culture and safety.
