Salary: £45,000 pa + £5,500 Car Allowance
Contract: 40 hour, full time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Hybrid working - Must be willing to travel across the South of England/Wales

We are looking for someone who has 'hands on' experience providing HR advice and guidance.
This is an exciting opportunity which doesn't come around often to work within a fast-paced business where you will be mentored and guided by senior colleagues within our Human Resources team.
What you'll be doing
As a Developing Business Partner with guidance and support, you will partner with the Divisional Operational Managers, Team Managers and their direct reports across the South of the network to deliver operational business plans and objectives, develop colleague capability and ensure effective utilisation of colleague cost base. In addition to these duties, you will be responsible for the following:
* Understand and take ownership of our people strategy, implementing our key areas of focus across allocated business area.
* Align people agenda and management capability and develop accordingly.
* Utilise MI data to influence people related agenda, decreasing colleague absence, and increasing colleague engagement and retention.
* Ensure full understanding of people costs and make recommendations to improve people planning across all locations to maximise operational effectiveness.
* Support with Projects and complex organisational change inclusive of TUPE, collective redundancy and site opening/closures and develop towards leading these in the future.
* Ad-hoc project management in consideration of ongoing business improvement, cost-control, and performance maximisation
* Development of company-wide communications strategies to compliment people related changes and ensure effective and consistent messaging.
* Creation and delivery of people related learning such as HR process training, complex case management and management capability.
* Partner with internal recruitment team to build an attraction, recruitment and induction strategy that is reflective of company values and culture.
What you need to show us
The successful Developing Business Partner will be working in a similar business facing HR role across multiple locations and have strong stakeholder management experience. You will be a HR professional that has the confidence to support and challenge colleagues if necessary. In addition, you will be ambitious and be able to communicate at all levels across the business, including the senior leadership team. You need to possess the following skills/experience:
* Educated to degree level or CIPD qualified (Level 5+)
* 2 years' experience working as a HR advisor is a fast-paced environment.
* HR generalist experience in a complex unionised organisation and multi-site is desirable but not essential
* Exposure to a Business Partnering structure
* Involvement with change management programmes
* Experienced HR advisor or generalist ready for the next step into Business Partnering
* Implementation of robust performance metrics and supporting delivery of the people agenda
* Experience coaching and influencing of senior stakeholders
* Development and monitoring of all - encompassing colleague engagement strategies * Start-to-end procedural experience with complex employee relations casework
* Multi-Site capability * Logistics or Retail experience is desirable but not essential
