Essential Criteria: Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with HCPC. Evidence of post qualification experience and continuing professional development to post graduate diploma level Substantial post registration experience working in a mental health service. Experience in working with people with severe and complex mental health needs Extensive knowledge / experience in social inclusion and recovery model of care. Sound understanding of current local and national policies in relation to mental health including the Mental Health Act, risk assessment and risk management processes. Good working knowledge ofassessment, care planning,implementation andevaluation processes. Comprehensive knowledgeof mental health conditionsand how they impact on anindividuals wellbeing andoccupational functioning. Desirable Criteria: Experience of working in a community setting. Experience of supervision Experience of managing a caseload Knowledge of MOHO and its assessment tools.
