Responsibilities of a Quality engineer: Essentials for a Quality Engineer Thorough understanding of Engineering Drawings Ability to problem solve / Decision making Methodical, with meticulous attention to detail Ability to interpret ISO standards for product tolerances/compliance Use of Measuring Equipment is essential i.e. micrometers, verniers, height gauge, shadow graph etc. Ability to write Work Instructions for new products & changes to existing products Contribute to technical aspects of New Product Introduction meeting Knowledge and experience of working to ISO9001:2015 Document Control of Engineering Drawings & Work Instructions Worked within a CNC machining environment Experienced in MS Office, CAD Completion of Corrective Actions, 8D etc. Dealing with Customer & Supplier complaints Calibration Internal & External PPAP, APQP Desirable for Quality engineer Experience of CMM & Faro arm Experience of working with Aluminium Extrusion Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing TS16949, AS9100 Quality Engineer specifics: - Fixed shifts - Overtime after 38 hours and Saturday 1.5 x basic - Weekly pay - 20 days annual leave stats - Time served holiday increase - Birthday bonus annual leave - Group profit share bonus - Pension enrolment If you feel that you match the criteria of a Quality Engineer and Wolverhampton is a suitable work location, apply today
