The Position
As a key member of our IT function, the Global PMO Manager will lead the IT Project Delivery function, overseeing a global team of project managers and business analysts. This team is responsible for delivering innovative and transformative technology solutions that directly impact business outcomes.This role focuses on establishing and maintaining high standards for project management practices, ensuring projects align with strategic goals and are executed efficiently, effectively, and within scope, schedule, and budget. The Global PMO Manager will act as a trusted partner and collaborator with stakeholders across IT and the business to drive alignment, resolve challenges, and foster a culture of accountability and success in project delivery. Reporting to the Head of the Office of the CIO, this position is integral to our growing technology function, driving operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives. You will lead a team of approximately six permanent staff, fostering their professional development while delivering measurable business value. Accountabilities Service Delivery Lead for IT Project Delivery
1. Provide strategic and operational leadership for the global team of project managers and business analysts, ensuring the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of IT projects that drive measurable business value
2. Champion a customer-centric approach to project delivery, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with business priorities and stakeholder expectations
3. Establish and Enforce Standards and Governance
4. Define, implement, and continuously improve project management standards, methodologies (., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), and governance frameworks
5. Ensure compliance with best practices, organizational policies, and external regulations, fostering consistency and quality in project execution
Stakeholder Collaboration
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across IT and the business to understand strategic priorities, address risks, and facilitate effective decision-making
7. Act as an escalation point to resolve project challenges and ensure alignment with overarching organizational goals
Resource Management and Capacity Planning
8. Optimize the allocation and utilization of resources across the project portfolio, ensuring an appropriate balance of workload and capacity within the team
9. Identify skill gaps and resource constraints, proposing solutions such as training, recruitment, or contractor engagement to address them
Reporting, Insights, and Transparency
10. Implement robust reporting mechanisms, including dashboards and performance metrics, to provide visibility into project status, progress, risks, and key outcomes
11. Use data-driven insights to enable informed decision-making and maintain transparency with senior leadership and stakeholders
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
12. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project management practices, tools, and methodologies
13. Drive lessons-learned processes to capture insights and apply them to future initiatives for increased success rates
Project Oversight and Portfolio Governance
14. Provide end-to-end oversight of the project portfolio, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while achieving the desired outcomes
15. Monitor project health across the portfolio, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and issues to ensure successful project execution
16. Lead regular portfolio reviews to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and the efficient use of resources

17. Inspire, mentor, and develop the global team of project managers and business analysts, fostering a high-performing, engaged, and collaborative team culture
18. Set clear performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and support career development initiatives for team members
